Well, I wont lie, this week has been a bit odd. I'm not sure what caused the weirdness but everyone, including myself, seems slightly off. Maybe we're getting a little burnt out. I'm sure its nothing a few hours of shooting each other wont cure. I hope.
Anyway, subway work continues, texturing, yada, yada, yada...
Hey, if you read this thing, let us know, leave a comment, stroke our fragile egos, something, anything?
Sorry, what's that?
You cant?
You're b-..?
Oh I see.
No, I understand.
No, really, it's fine. Go wash your hair.
I'll call you later?
Hello?
Bitches.

Arrr, slacker sky pirates of the world unite.
A battle-- a fierce battle --took place in the skies and streets of Downtown yesterday. Push and I hopped in our Jolly Roger hotair balloon [made by Finn McCellan, incase you hope to have your own sky pirate battle] and began to nuke a little tour group. It may have been overkill to use nukes against 4 or 5 people, but it sure was fun. Atleast, it was fun, until our balloon was wedged into Chinatown like a...something...wedged into...something else. Yeah. Anyway, then we battled on foot for awhile with Abbey and flopsie. It's amazing we get anything done really.
Lets see, what else happened... Oh, I finally caught up with Trevor, he's been a bit busy in rl. I asked about the missing buildings and it turns out he did save copies. So that's good, though I cant get them to line up the right way now...cause I'm a 'tard. Also, he'll be gone for a week on a trip to Boston and New York City, but he promised to bring back lots of pictures and anecdotes.
In other news, flopsie has made an awesome factory-looking building, which will actually be a cafe. Abbey continues to make Chinatown one of the coolest spots in the city. And flopsie and I are working on the subway, I'm excited about it.

Okay. That's all for today, my ability to focus is gone.

What the shit!
Okay, so I logged on, I procrastinated, I hung some lanterns in chinatown, I procrastinated some more, and then did a quick fly around to see what else needed to be done. Upon reaching the eastern block of the main road, I made a most unsettling discovery. Dun dun DUN. A building was missing! And across the street, another lay in ruins! Well, fuck. How did this happen? I really have no idea. I assume it was an accident, though noone has claimed the blame for it. A mystery, indeed. Oh well. I'm hoping Trevor has a copy of the missing and broken buildings, but he hasnt been on yet today...so, we'll see.
Edit: Oh and Happy Valentine's Day. May your chocolate fill the void.

We Smell Like Progress
Alright, so it's been about a month since we ordered the sim and I thought it'd be nice to have a little recap. Unfortunately, I suck at recaps. So instead, you're going to get a jumbled mess of thoughts. And sentence fragments. Lucky you.
Well, we started off strong and finished the main road buildings in only a few days. After that initial burst of excitement, things started to slow down. We got distracted often, by things like dominoes and cameras. Some days, we did nothing for the sim at all.
I will admit that this was mostly my fault. I procrastinate very well. But that's why it's great to work with friends. Trevor expressed his concerns in a way that any good friend would. With a gun. And once our other friends joined in, our excitement went right back up and work went quicker. Which brings us to now I suppose.
So where are we? Let's seeeee. Brownstones, which will be available to rent, are being built by the lovely Argyle Gadsby. Push and Abbey are continuing to texture the buildings. Trevor, Barry, flopsie, and I are working on other details, such as the city park.
Hey, maybe I don't suck at recaps after all. Well, you be the judge. I'm sick of writing now. Have some pictures:
